My niece turns 5 on May 26. I try to make them something for their birthday, and it only seemed fitting that I make them a hat this year. This one is extra special because both the outside fabric and liner comes from Grandma Jeanne. In fact, the lining of the hat happens to be the same fabric that Grandma used to back Claire's baby quilt.
