She can wear flip-flops

Isabel has never owned a pair of flip-flops because her feet can't fit in them.......well, I found a tutorial of how to personalize a pair of flip-flops and realized I could take a pair of $1 flip-flops from the dollar store and turn them into somthing that Isabel keeps asking for......flip-flops like the boys.

First I cut off the straps of the flip flops.

Then I used triangular pieces of scrap fabric and elastic edging to make the new straps.  I glued the elastic edging on the bottom side of the flip flop.

And then to make it more fun, I added a piece of ribbon in the middle of the triangle so that I can put flower clips on each sandal to match whatever outfit she is wearing.  She is soooo excited to be able to have her own pair of flip-flops like the boys!
